At Jade and Ray, we believe the best memories are made around the table.

Whether it's a birthday, baby shower, holiday dinner, or a simple gathering with the people you love most, celebrations don't have to be elaborate to be meaningful. They just need to bring people together.

Founder Summer has spent more than 15 years creating memorable events—from weddings and  corporate celebrations to nonprofit galas and intimate family gatherings. Through every role, one thing became clear: people want to celebrate, but they often feel overwhelmed by the planning, shopping, and endless decisions that come with hosting.

After becoming a mom, that realization became even more personal. Between busy schedules and everyday life, celebrating often felt like one more thing on the to-do list. Summer knew there had to be a better way.

That's how The Edit by Jade and Ray was born.

The Edit is a thoughtfully curated collection of beautifully coordinated tablescapes 

designed to make hosting effortless. We've done the sourcing, styling, and decision-making for you, so you can spend less time shopping and more time making memories with the people who matter most.

For those looking for a more hands-on experience, Jade and Ray also offers custom event planning and styling for intimate celebrations, including birthdays, baby showers, dinner parties, and milestone moments throughout San Diego.

Our hope is simple: to help people celebrate more.
